Product Description | Application
•Minimum labeling temp: 10℃. Service temp: -15℃~90℃. (24h after labeling). •This product is principally used as a base material for ‘security labeling’. •It offers a versatile tamper evident film which can be converted into shaped labels – yet will fractureon attempted removal. •Typical applications are for secure ‘closures’ in pharmacy, electronics and automatic spares. •Other application areas may be in heat and sound insulation – where the relatively thick foamed layer will act as a non-conductive barrier, plus as a friction or anti-scratch label for table protection when applied to the base of trophies etc. Print & Process •The product can be printed by all conventional roll label technologies including offset litho, UVletterpress and UV flexo. •On press corona is recommended for optimum ink adhesion. •Print impression pressure should be‘backed off’ to prevent collapse of the foamed structure. •Dies must be sharp and square corners should be avoided. •Overprinting using thermal transfer is good. •Resin/ wax-resin based ribbons are recommended however ribbon and overprint unit settings must be tested to obtain best results. |
